Pin-up/goth/fetish photographer
After a prolonged break from my photography for work and my new love-knitting-I am trying to get myself back in the saddle. I have always been a huge fan of the old pin-up masters-Elvgren, Vargas, Bernard of Hollywood, Bunny Yeager-and of course, the glorious Miss Page and Miss Monroe. I would like to reflect that in my work. I am not interested in profit or fame, I just want to make art that makes me and my models happy and I would dearly love to see my work in a magazine one day.
I coach and skate for the Halifax Hellcats Roller Derby League. Our league is just starting up and is having some problems getting a practice space, so we will unlikely be having any bouts until next year, which breaks me heart. I started skating as Ella Mental, but that will be changing in the near future as I could not get permission to use that name.
