About Me
Hotter than a '57 Cadillac and guaranteed to get your engine revved up, this burlesque bird hails from the Motor City. Scarlette O'Harlette gives you a taste of burlesque served up Detroit style! Sweet and seductive, Scarlette's shows are a modern and comic take on the classic burlesque of old, spiced with plenty of shimmies and shakes! Her preferred music runs the gamut from classic burlesque to rock, punk and rockabilly. With a variety of custom made costumes, themes, and music, Scarlette has something for everyone!
Scarlette is no stranger to the stage. A veteran performer with the Detroit Spagettes, she has performed countless North American shows including the Detroit Dirty Show, Toronto's First Annual Viktory Burlesque Fest, and SPAG events. This world traveler made her London burlesque debut at the illustrious Lady Luck Club in August 2004. Scarlette continues to perform at Lady Luck and has since appeared at many other top venues and club nights including (but not limited to) Stranger Than Paradise, One for the Lovers, Deranged and Demented and Oh My God I Miss You, as well as private functions. Scarlette featured in the highly praised Burly-Q Revue 2005 and 2006’s Burly-Q Spring Pagaent both at the Bethnal Green Workingman's Club. She has performed at Reading, Leeds and Latitude festivals.
In addition to her burlesque work, Scarlette has also modeled for Detroit notables Vato, Slaw and Allan Barnes among others. She was the lead model in the 2005 Detroit pin-up art show "Tainted Cheesecake”. More recently she can be seen in Exit Magazine Volume Two, shot by Nadav Kandar.
Scarlette stars in the highly acclaimed music video “Girls in Boys Clothes” by the cult London electropunk band The Errorplains. She also features in SPAG Teaze! The Movie, soon to be released!
