About Me
Howdy! I'm Amanda (aka Dixie von Trixie). I'm a 25 year old burlesque performer/singer/makeup artist from southern California. I perform and manage the San Diego based burlesque troop, Sultry Savage Burlesque, under the name of Miss Dixie von Trixie (the Southern Belle from Hell). I am the lead singer of my 1960's-inspired primitive soul/garage band, The Viewmasters. I have worked primarily as a makeup artist for the past 8 years; mainly for Christian Dior. My true passion is fashion/jewelry design, and in my spare time I enjoy making my burlesque costumes and clothing.
I used to do quite a bit of 50's vintage-esque pinup modeling a few years back. I loved it and had the privledge of working with some wonderful photographers. Since then, I've gotten out of it (kinda dropped out of sight, if you will)- but the idea of making a comeback always has tickled my fancy!
